Its taken me ages to get round to finishing this section of the site, but here goes! A brief history! lol.

I was 11 before I started showing an interest in Music. The first year of High school was when I started my journey. I played Trombone for only one year and then took up the Tenor Saxophone which I have now been playing for 17 years, although admittedly it has been collecting dust for 4 of those years.

I Studied Music at A-level and left with Grade 8 in both Saxophone and Voice (with Distinction) and also a B at A-level. From there I went on to study Musical Theatre in Blackpool and performed in many amateur productions. It was during the second year In Blackpool that I took to the stage of the Grand Theatre and took the role of Che in EVITA. I had the buzz! During this year Nina and I decided to make some extra cash and become a duo. So our then named duo DUAL took to the pubs and clubs of the UK.

We were making money and going down well, so we continued working on the duo. The next 2 years introduced us to some great people and some great work. We spent 4 months working in Barcelona and the following year spent 3 months working the south of England. In 2002 we had some great news, Nina and I were to have a little Girl named Niamh who is now 6 years old. After some time off in 2003 we decided it was time to get back to what we do best, so with a new name, new set up and new image we introduced ourselves as OXYGEN and we have now been going strong ever since.
